June 23

I awoke early today. I needed to get out into the sea. I almost forgot why I love it so. Cerro Azul is got an ocean like pacificas linda mar. I felt right at home, but I didnt hardly surf that way because I hardly knew how the waves worked. I did have fun, though. This time of year Cerro Azul is a ghost town. I mean nobody is on the street no, nothing, nada. I couldnt take being in a place thats so lonely. Its freaky, I tell you. The resturant is open, but all ten or fifteen are just waiting for me to walk in. I dont mean waiting for a tourist, I mean me, nobody else but me. I left for Pisco this morning, where I will see the national park and isla ballestas tommorrow. Unfortunately, I left my spanish english dictionary on the bus. But, I bought a much cheaper one on the street which I like better. I have a blog system set up, thanks Robin! You can check out all my emails at once at peteinperu.blogspot.com ´´READ THE BLOG, DO IT, YOU MUST´´ that me tell you how hot water works. They dont have hot water heaters that would defeat I point of me telling you. They have an electrical unit on the shower itself. It heats the water with electrical resistence like an electric stove boils your water. first, you turn on the water. step two, turn on the electrical swtch and get in. When you are finished, you must do turn off the switch then the water valve. Otherwise, you get a little shock.
